Sadly due to the advice given by State & National authorities concerning the COVID-19 virus, the Serpentine Air Race 2020 will be postponed until the 27th of September 2020.
We would like to thank all of the pilots, sponsors and would-be spectators for your support and look forward to bringing you the Centennial Celebration of Australia’s First Air Race bigger and better come September.
Calling all Tiger Moth Pilots!
Registration is now open for the Serpentine Air Race taking place on the 27th of September 2020.
This 70-mile air race will launch from ‘Serpentine Airfield’ commemorating Australia’s First Offical Air Race.
Tiger Moth pilots/owners from around the country will converge on
Serpentine Airfield | Loddon Valley Highway
for this historic aviation event.

Getting to Serpentine Air Race
Serpentine Airfield is located 6kms south of Serpentine on Bendigo Road. You won’t find it on any maps as it’s not a full-time airfield. It’s a beautiful grass field perfectly suited to host a historical air race.
